Is there any chance of damaging large diaphram condensor microphones
or Ribbon mics,
by laying them in their cases on top of or next to a couple of
TurboSound live
sound reinforcment speaker cabinets? Theses cabs contain 15" woofers
and
1" tweeters.

I don't know if any thing will happen from it just sitting there but, if the
speaker is pumping away it could very well vibrate and fall off. That can do
some damage to a fragile microphone.
I once tripped over a mic stand (holding my new AT 4047sv) causing it to tip
over, the mic smacked the carpet and stopped working.

Not if the cabinets are turned off. But if they're running, the vibration
is probably not good for the ribbons.

Be sure to store ribbon mikes in the right position too, of course.
