Well, that pretty much depends on what features you want to get.

Perhaps some folks could provide you with links to sites where you can gain
a basic education on car audio, and then come back to the newsgroup with a
more specific question or questions. Determine a budget and then folks may
be able to make recommendations on what the best gear is for your budget,
etc. What music do you listen to? Do you plan on running external amps?, a
subwoofer? Would you rather have flashy graphics and blinky **** on your
headunit, or would you prefer a plain-jane look with higher quality, etc.

I completely agree with what Nick and Tom said. Having said that, in my
opinion, Eclipse makes one of the better products for the money. Keep in
mind you still need to define what's important to you as far as features,
becuase Eclipse may not suit your needs. And, your opinion is undoubtedly
different than mine. But since you're asking for advice, start browsing
Eclipse and go from there. Keep in mind there's a ton of other good brands
out there. And before you ask, Eclipse does not allow any sales of their
equipement over the Internet. If you want an Eclipse warranty you have to
purchase them from an authorized dealer.
