I recently reconfigured my amps so now they're running my Dynaudio System
360 set in tri-amped mode. However, when setting the gains on my amps, I now notice that if I turn the gains up too high, I hear a low-level static noise coming from the speakers (like pink noise). The static is a set volume and does not change with the volume from the head unit. I've never experienced this before. My current setup: Phoenix Gold ZX475ti. The two front channels are driving the two tweeters in HP, and the rear two channels are driving the midwoofers in LP. A BP signal is then sent to my PG ZX 450 amp via the aux RCA outputs. The front channels of the 450 then drives the midranges and the rear channels bridged to power the subs. I also added at the same time my PG EQ232 30-band EQ. It has variable gain and output controls as well. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Tony -- What's more likely? That an all-powerful mysterious god created the universe and then decided not to give any proof of his existence? Or, that he simply doesn't exist at all? And that we created him so that we wouldn't have to feel so small and alone. -Eleanor Arroway, Contact |
