Technician I / Audio Technical Services

International Radio Organization based in Washington DC is seeking an
audio technician with experience in both digital and analog systems
common to modern radio production.

Job responsibilities include the development, installation,
documentation and maintenance of Radio Free Asia's audio systems
including related computer hardware/software, audio consoles,
switchers, telecommunications-audio interface systems and audio
distribution systems located throughout 30 studios and central control
room.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ability to interface and operate analog and digital audio
devices common to the radio production and broadcast environment.

The ability to map and troubleshoot complex audio signal flow.

Experience providing technical support to users in a business
setting.

Must possess strong organizational skills have an attention to
detail and the ability to work independently to solve problems.

The ability to function effectively with people from widely
different national and cultural backgrounds.

The Ability to learn new technologies quickly

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or five years related professional experience or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Society of Broadcast Engineers broadcast certification and three
years of professional experience.

eligibility.
