I have a Tascam DM24 mixer for which I've developed software to assist in
FOH work for live theater. I'm thinking that the software might be marketable and would like to get a feel for how big the potential market might be. How many mixer models are remote controllable? Do they all use MIDI like the Tascam DM24 does, or are there other computer to mixer control interfaces? How large is the market for live theater FOH mixers? My experience has been that most FOH mixers are analog; Given that my software is of course a killer application and solves every solvable problem, how many FOH's might be willing to adopt digital mixers? :^) (please accept my apologies for cross posting) |
