i wanna hook saround sound and my mixer up to my notebook.i was
wanduring if i could purchase a device i could connect to my computer
wich has 1/4 sterio and mono and audio vidio.or if not do you know of
a sound card that has 1/4 inputs

The only real choice you have for your notebook is an external device
connected through USB or FireWire. Check out the M-Audio
(www.m-audio.com) site for an example of what's available, but know that
they are /not/ the only manufacturers of such equipment.
