Default Teac A3300sx Mastering reel to reel

I think they came in both track configurations. If you're looking for magical
analog wonderfulness, this isn't it. The Revoxes & Ampexes would get you a lot
closer.

This would depend on which model and whether it is in ex works state. I
think USD 200 is a sensible payment to someone for carrying it home from
the shop. If the questinee needs an analog tapemachine for playback, and
if the head configuration is right, then it could be relevant to pay for
such a machine. It is however technical folly to purchase an analog tape
recorder to record on, unless it is for special effects. It is certainly
not a mastering choice, the loss of quality is imo not acceptable.
