I just got a pair of Lightwave B300's off eBay and they are damaged. It
sounds like the woofer is blown in one of them and the other I don't know how to describe so I posted a sound clip at www.thomasbishop.net/speaker.wav I informed the guy I bought them from and he said they worked perfectly when they left his house. Is there any way that these could have damaged in this way during shipping? Seems unlikely to me. I couldn't see anything physically wrong with the speakers but I know almost nothing about troubleshooting a speaker (never had to). What should I do and what is that noise that I have posted? Thanks for your help. Thomas |
