Default fw: Rumsfeld too busy to sign soldier's death letters

Sign letters or work on logistics to up armor vehicles not designed for
the extra weight. You decide.

Since he hasn't done much of either, I'm not sure what your point is.

Over 15000 armored Humvees isn't much to a slacker whose annual
federal tax contribution won't pay for a single windshield.

And how many troops died because of all of the unarmored Humvees and
deuce-and-a-halfs during the war?

I know it's a burden for the Secretary to sign between 5 and 40
letters a week, esepcially since they're only window-dressing to the
important work that he's otherwise doing. After all, you seem to imply
that he has to personally sign for each of those 10,000 vehicles.

You'll better bet that he's warming up the ole signing arm now. Of
course, with the elections supposedly coming up, he'd better get that
arm in shape.
