Just the other day, the Krooglebeast attested that he participates in Usenet just for fun. This despite numerous occasions over the years in which he has referred to his and others' "Usenet careers". And despite his overblown accusations that John Atkinson and others "attack" Mr. **** in order to stymie his "business" endeavors. The most glaring evidence that exposes Turdy's lies is his consuming paranoia. You can see it in the many detailed accusations of conspiracies he's posted, and the bizarre accusations like "one dirty hand washes the other". And then there's the preoccupation with his so-called "enemies". Here are a selection of the latter. "I'm talking about apologies to enemies, such as Atkinson, Bamborough, Zelnicker, etc." "I'm taking a high-handed put-down administered in public at face value. My enemies treat me no worse." "...in several cases a number of my enemies humbly accepted my apology by dumping-on much abuse as they could." "I do have this policy of giving straight answers to technical questions, even to my enemies." "Even my enemies don't seriously dispute that...." "Some of my enemies like Zelniker and Atkinson ... are quite arguably real." Of course, as with all of Krooger's insane mutterings, you have to get past the garbling of meaning that's inherent in Krooglish. But looking at the situation from a moderate altitude, wouldn't you say that "fun" and "enemies" are mutually exclusive? In addition to the very revealing quotations that you cited as examples of Krueger's raging paranoia, he has recently confessed that he used an AOL account at one time to "get information" on "sockpuppets" and "malefactors". Presumably these people were also on his enemies list. It certainly can be asked - "What sane person would go to such lengths?". Add to that the well documented fact that he has also questioned the identities of many of his enemies and suggested that *they* too are sockpuppets, even though there is no evidence that would convince any rational person of this delusioinal accusation. This doesn't seen to be contradictory in the least to me - he finds it amusing to throw stones at the hornets' nest. Check. But looking at the situation from a moderate altitude, wouldn't you say that "fun" and "enemies" are mutually exclusive? I've talked to him outside of UseNet and he actually is quite intelligent if he decides to give a damn. Of course, he doesn't give a rat's ass about this group from what I can tell. It's purely amusement. So take that for what it's worth, I guess. |
