What does "Acoustically, these tweeters will blow the doors off anything
manufactured today." mean? I find it hard to believe that Bose ever
made any quality drivers.

And they must be awfully small doors. Tweeters are not, in general, known for
high acoustic output.

Hi Alex,

Actually, it is a comment about "reproductions" or "knock-off" replacement parts.

If you ever get the opportunity to hear a set of vintage Bose 601 speakers, they
can make a mediocre stereo sound great...

Most of the Bose I have heard are mediocre, but I have never hear the 601
