Pair of Acoustic Research AR-4x speaker cabinets in excellent condition,
real walnut veneer (see photos below - freshly rubbed with linseed oil) Non-original drivers inside are an 8-inch Pyle woofer, coded WP8C200-F and a 3-inch paper cone tweeter with the following codes on it: 104837 812. Installed by retired professional sound engineer. $29.99 picked up in Connecticut, or plus actual shipping. Drivers included for additional $20.00. Crossover inside is a single coil and a Sprague 20uF cap in each speaker. One grill is missing the AR badge. I will throw in a pair of AR badges with the deal. Great opportunity to replace your beat-up AR-4x cabinets, or install original drivers purchased from ebay. Speaker pair, with drivers inside, weighs 44 pounds before packing. Original AR paper labels on backs of speakers. Original owner wrote his initials and a date on the labels. Serial numbers a 237601, 237607. One has a stained back and the other does not (I don't know why). http://users.rcn.com/smarsh.nai/AR4x.jpeg http://users.rcn.com/smarsh.nai/AR4xb.jpeg http://users.rcn.com/smarsh.nai/AR4xc.jpeg |
