Here is what Brian McCarty is now doing in Cairns...

Maybe this explains his bad behavior? Who knows?

TRADERS yesterday shut their kitchens, closed their doors and suffered losses
during the afternoon's 90-minute blackout across the city.

With EFTPOS out of action and many customers unable to make credit card
purchases, many businesses just gave up and closed their doors.

Cairns Chamber of Commerce president Bob Norman called on Ergon Energy to
improve its maintenance.

He said this was an important time of year for traders as Christmas drew
nearer.

Esplanade photo lab Tropical Pics manager Peta Thomas said the blackout was the
worst thing that could happen.

"We had films in the machine, photos were getting printed," Ms Thomas said.

She said it was lucky there was no damage.

The Baskin Robbins ice cream shop was unable to trade - with the ice cream
being sent back to the large freezer for preservation.

"We have a policy that if the power has been out for 10 minutes, we put it back
in the freezer," owner Brian McCarty said.

Sanity music store in Lake St also reported a substantial loss.

Store manager Mark English said it was their busiest period and they could not
sell anything.

"We couldn't make any credit card transactions," he said.

Shields St restaurant Verdi's reported closing its kitchen and even turning a
few customers away. Even McDonald's on the Esplanade had no choice but to
close.

Surprisingly, some businesses actually attracted extra customers because of the
power outage. Fantasy Donuts at Cairns Central reported an increase in
business, especially for cold drinks, as many other places closed.

To be fair, it implies McCarty owns a shop in the Baskin Robbins franchise.

McCarty obviously has basic managerial skills that allow him to function in
a simple environment.

However, this does not imply that Brian L. McCarty has the necessary skills
to function in a large scale economic environment, such as as a public
company managing sizeable investments.

For this reason, as well as his continuing activity as a scammer, Brian L.
McCarty is
*****OFFICIALLY PROHIBITED*****
from raising any money for his "WorldJAZZ.com" venture.
