Default INFINITY RS-7 Speakers EMIT, L@@K...

Infinity RS-7 Speaker System, $199 pr.

Actual Image: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/rs-7.html

Infinity RS 7 Speaker System EMIT, $199 pr. Made during Infinity's peak -
around 1984, the RS 7 offered a well balanced speaker of great value in the
Infinity line. Both the 8" woofer and 5" midrange cones were made of
polypropylene. The midrange also was designed with a butyl rubber surround and
cast basket. To top things off the signature EMIT tweeter make this a system
hard to beat.

Infinity published the following specs for this system... Frequency Response:
45Hz to 32kHz +/- 3dB; Power Handling: 25 to 125 watts; Dimensions: 21 3/4"h x
15 1/2"w x 10"d. The cabinet is finished in a simulated oak vinyl. The cabinets
are thick to control vibrations. Both the mid and tweeter have level controls.
The tweeter can be rotated for horozontal placement. The grill cloth is a sheer
knit fabric. Wow, what a speaker.

Usually when you locate a pair of these there are major problems: the woofer
foam has turned to goo, the cabinets have crushed corners or some original
drivers were replaced. Well, not to worry on this pair as the woofer foam has
just been expertly replaced for another 20 years use. The grills have only a
few small tears, the cabinets only show normal careful wear. You will be
hardpressed to find a better pair. All the original drivers are working as they
should. These sound great. A nice solid acoustic suspension bass, articulate
midrange and a super detailed high end with that EMIT. You will hear sounds
from your CD's you never noticed before.

Enjoy a pair of the "old Infinity's" and experience the thrill they provided
once again. I can offer this exceptional pair for only $199 plus shipping.
