Default Pioneer SX-780 Receiver, $119

Pioneer SX-780 Receiver, $119

Image: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/sx-780.html

Here is a nice example of the mid 70s silver on silver receivers that put
Pioneer in the forefront of the industry. The SX-780 features 45 watts per
channel. Dual power meters. Inputs: AM/FM, tape 1 and 2, Phono and Aux. Low
filter, mono/muting. Switching and connections for two pair of speakers. Nice
sounding FM section.

Nice cosmetics and fully functionally. This receiver has been cleaned and will
arrive looking and sounding great! Fully bench tested.

Here is what the Pioneersilver.com website has to say about his piece: The
SX-780 was the last of the 700 series receivers Pioneer built. It was built
from 1978 through 1980. It was rated at 45 watts per channel. List price in
1980, the last year offered, was $400.00 and it was manufactured in Japan. You
can see from the photo just how handsome this receiver was and why it is still
popular today with collectors of Pioneer receivers from the Silver Era. The
late 1970s were indeed very good years for Pioneer receivers. They are as
pleasurable to look at as they are listening to.

Listed for $400 from 1978-80, only $119 plus shipping. (26lbs net, 34lbs gross)
