Pardon my ignorance, Gene. You say that there is no reserve, yet there is a
starting bid for $99.00. Can you explain the difference? Thank you.

Another thing, Gene. Shouldn't you inform your potential customers that
these speakers are not a matched pair. They appear to be 2 left side
speakers. Thank you.

By definition, the reserve price is a hidden price, not exhibited in the
auction format. In a proxy bid system, the first bid will always be below
the reserve price, because it will be the starting bid.

Two points...

If the starting price is near or equal to what the item would normally sell for,
then it is, practically, a reserve -- even if it isn't called that.

The Advent Large speaker -- unlike, say, the latter versions of the Dahlquist
DQ-10 -- did not come in mirror-imaged pairs. I have two pairs of the Advent,
which I will eventually restore, including "flopping" one of the tweeters in
each pair.
