Default Alpine 9807 headunit

I just bought the Alpine 9807 HeadUnit for 279 bucks, and i was told it
had AUX inputs so that i could hook up my portable mp3 player to it,
thats why i bought it. I'm pretty sure im just an idiot but i cant find
the aux inputs to plug in my portable mp3 player, where isit ?

Default Alpine 9807 headunit

You can add a KCA-121B to it. Basically it gives you a pair of rcas in
the ai-net plug.

Default Alpine 9807 headunit

Its an optional part you need to buy in order to use the auxilary input.
It plugs into the back of the radio and will give you a set of aux
input rcas.

I don't think the 9807 has an RCA AUX input. It does have an AiNet input that
can be converted for use as an AUX, but I think that Alpine CD changers need
the AiNet input to communicate with the deck....Have you tried consulting the
owner's manual?

ya i went through the entire manual a few times but it seems more
concerned with bragging about functions and for some reason left this
out.. im gonna go to the place i boghth it and ask

crutchfield www.crutchfield.com sells the kca-121b for about 15$. You could
look up that alpine h.u. model number and check whether it needs the 121b
for aux input.
