I was at a small "auto toyz" store today and they carried a brand
called ECOM ... if my memory serves me right. WOW they were
expensive decks...didnt look all to excitng either... just curious if
this is a popular brand or not

now that i look on the eclipse website, i am seeing that they have
ecom written underneaththere deck pictures. what is ecom? is it the
name of eclipse decks?

E-Com is their shorthand for "Eclipse Commander" its an add-on that does
spiffy **** like enable their higher end decks to do mp3 decoding.
Ironically, the lower end ones up til the 3413 and discluding the very
bottom one have MP3 decoding built-in.
