have an onkyo cassette deck ta-r22 from 1985 and never had a problem with it
i now have a cassette stuck in there and the door will not eject is there a way to remove the door and get to the tape any other solutions would be appreciated |

It is likely that the tape is wrapped around the capstan and this is preventing the mechanism from disengaging and thus releasing the tape. Alternatively, the mechanism may just require a little assistance. Pull the top cover off and rotate the flywheel (in the correct direction!) and this may free the mech. If not, you're screwed.
