Default onkyo cassette issue

have an onkyo cassette deck ta-r22 from 1985 and never had a problem with it

i now have a cassette stuck in there and the door will not eject

is there a way to remove the door and get to the tape

any other solutions would be appreciated

**The stuck tape is an indicator of a (possibly) deeper problem. It is
likely that the tape is wrapped around the capstan and this is preventing
the mechanism from disengaging and thus releasing the tape. Alternatively,
the mechanism may just require a little assistance. Pull the top cover off
and rotate the flywheel (in the correct direction!) and this may free the
mech.

If not, you're screwed. Take it to a pro.
