Does anyone know what the difference between the Canare RCAP-C5F and the
RCAP-C77 (http://www.canare.com/index.cfm?obje...83AA729BC22994) is? Why can I not use the same die to crimp both the cables if like some people suggest its only the center pin that is different. Does anyone also have TS-100E or TS-5C Canare wire stripper for sale or know any place where I can but it cheap? Thanks. "Colin B." wrote in message ... They seem to be offering good cables at reasonable prices. I am looking to buy but want to make sure they are good quality. Or any other suggestions? You can get better results by burning your money and letting the fumes waft over your equipment. Actually, I remember looking at Bluejean Cables some time ago. Their idea of good cables seemed to be flexible double-shielded RG-6 (can't remember the Belden #, but they tell you what it is and why they chose it) with quality connectors, sold for something like 30% more than the cost of the parts. Note that they were selling this stuff for video. In other words, they just make proper cables and price them reasonably. No stupid magic. Colin |
