Just installed a sub system in my car and get a really loud pop (actually
more like a loud, low "KAFWUMP" sound) when I turn the system off.
This sound only comes through the sub.
The amp powering the sub is an older Jenson XA1120. I'm using the antenna
power wire to remote power on and off the amp.
Other 4 speakers are powered from the head unit. There was no problem before
installing the amp and sub.
My concern is that, over time I might damage the sub from this.
Anyone know of a solution to this?
