Any old $5.00 paperback on aurio would read just as well.
I can't believe that audio clowns are wasting so much money
on this book, when they can get the same performance for $5.00.

Funnily enough, I was looking up something in one of my old Audio Buying
Guides, and there was a very favorable review of one of Howard's books.

Maybe we all need to ratchet it down a couple of notches.

"Aurio" is what howard uses when determining the pinkyness or the noise
he listens to (he calls this level matching) to establish that all amps
sound the same. "Booik" is what happens to a book after howards been at it.

I was just looking through an old issue of Stereophile
and there was a favorable review of a $3,000 tube amp.

Maybe our favorite professional audio clown need some ratcheting.

I am using Aurios quite effectively. You might want to look into them if
vibration control is of any interest to you. Surprisingly, the oldest cheapest
versions seem to actually be the most effective. They are harder to use though.
