Default A new audiophile...

and a new music lover is here.

Robert James was born September 23, 2004 and already loves music -
especially two albums, "For Our Children too!", and "Dreamland" (World
Lullabies by Putumayo) among several others. Seems that's the only kind of
music I have time to listen to these days. .

You got it. And additional congratulations for naming your son Robert James
instead of Apple, or Coco, or Eustasius or any other bizarre name, which seems
to be the trend these days. ;-)

I guess so. She spends more time with him than I do. I guess that's a new
mom's role. Actually he takes up 95% of our time now.

Sorry, can't resist a straight line.

Thanks again, Dave!

LOL!!

We're pretty traditional folks, I guess. Eustasius? GMAFB. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Actually, he was named after my two uncles on my deceased mother's side. I
was named after her younger brother, James, and my wife wanted our son to
keep my name, so we did, but since no one in the family ever honored my
mother's older brother by naming a son after him, I decided to do so -
especially after discovering, post 9-11, that her older brother, Robert, was
about to enter medical school when he joined the Navy during WWII and became
a highly decorated fighter pilot, only to be "lost at sea" during an
engagement with the Japanese just before I was born. Who knows? He looks
like my mother's father - maybe he'll be a doctor someday.

No, that guy puts his email in his posts. It's somebody else.

Well, here's some news. I didn't know the new one, but I did send to the
old one, and it didn't bounce, so the old one is still alive, but you
didn't answer the message, so I don't know which 'borg to throttle.

That would depend on the date.
The account was officially closed by the first of this month.
I tried a test message to the old Demon address, it didn't bounce as
well. I'll have to talk to the guys there.
I can't log in on that account, so apparently they did *something*.

BTW, anyone smart enough to figure out the first 2 letters of both me
and my wife pasted together, as well as my current provider, is able
to reach me. First one to do so wins a little prize.
I have yet to think of a suitable one, note. Hmmm.....2 pair of GeCo
KT66s? Or a little dedicated poem on RAO? A box filled with sunrays?

BTW2: those who already know are excluded of course.
