http://cvd.scorpiorising.ca/kits.html You get me all excited and then I see the input requirements for the power supply. 300 to 380 filter DC. What the hell is that? I need a design that runs off 110VAC. With this I need a supply to supply the supply ![]() But the preamp schematic and CCA is very cool. Citation 1 may be coming in a week or 2 though. I'm excited. I been reading the tube book. The good news is, I've found a sure cure for insomnia. Bad news is... my attention span is even less than when I was in college..... I miss my reel to reel (which some ass saw fit to steal out of my dorm room) when I could spool up about 8 hours of my favorites. Ordered some Arulex wedgies from the Guitar Center. They're cheap. I'm gonna rig them behind the Quads to see I can absorb/diffuse the back wave and see what it might do for imaging. I was getting annoyed that the image on some music seemed to be shifted left and discovered if I closed the door (which is in the corner sort of behind the right speaker) it centered up better. But my Checky test CD (with some guy speaking from multiple positions) seems pretty centered regardless of the door, I think that voice lacks high freq content so it doesn't get impacted by the back wave so much.
