![]() "isaac" wrote in message om... I bought a Henry Kloss-designed Cambridge Soundworks "Soundworks" system for my PC in 1997 and have been very pleased with it. Now I need another speaker set for my bedroom. I don't need tons of volume, just enough to enshroud a small bedroom. I have a portable CD player and another mp3 player that I'd like to use as the input. It's 2004 now, so I was just wondering: with those same Henry Kloss speakers now selling for $60, is there anything out there that will beat it for under $100? I'm more interested in rich, clear sound than artificially-pumped up bass ( I listen to lots of classical and jazz ). Thanks! Isaac no |

Very good sound for about $70-80. They sound better than the Soundworks. The MA-12C, though - the larger versions of the same thing, are stunning and can be had used for about $100 or so a pair. Literally like comparing Bose to a decent set of speakers - it's that much better than the Soundworks. |
