I'm thinking of putting my Velodyne on ebay next week to try to get it
out of my spare bedroom. This thing is about 20" x 20" x 18" and weighs about 90-100 lbs. How on god's green earth could I ship this thing? |

How on god's green earth could I ship this thing? Maybe the Mfgr has a suitable shipping box that you could buy from them. I regularly purchase shipping boxes that way to ensure that whatever I ship gets there without any damage. r -- Nothing beats the bandwidth of a station wagon filled with DLT tapes. That would probably be the safest approach, since manufacturers include custom shaped styrofoam pieces to secure the products in most cases. While such boxes can be expensive, you might be able to defray part of it by asking the buyer to share the costs with you. Bruce J. Richman |
