Hi,
I live in Europe and was looking at getting a Nakamichi CD 400 from the states, as they seem to be a lot cheaper there... The only difference I can see in the FM section is that the US version tunes in 100kHz steps rather than 50kHz for the ROW versions. Assuming European radio stations are on frequencies e.g. 102.40, I don't see a problem. Can anyone confirm that this would be the case, or does anyone know if there's a jumper / switch / whatever inside that might let me convert to 50kHz tuning steps? Thanks for any help, Dave. |
