Default Good source for objective reviews?

Is there a good source, preferrably online, for objective equipment
reviews?
My ideal resource would be a "Tom's Hardware Guide" for car audio: a large
number of reviews on a wide variety of equipment, complete with both
thorough measurements and commentary as well. The last non-big-box car
audio shop in my town went under, and it's a two to three hour drive to
anyplace that has decent shops, and it's very helpful to me to be able to

do
research beforehand.

Carsound.com has a reviews section. I wouldn't trust a single word they say
in the text, but presumably their measurements are performed uniformly and
they provide that info on the side of the pages. Like actual power output.

That's pretty harsh ... I know Rich and David, and have talked to Brian
in the AS2000 labs on several occasions. While I have had technical
differences with one or the other of them a few times, I can tell you
they are some of the more competent, intellectually honest guys in the
business and reasonably willing to call them as they see them.

I get a much different impression from what they write. Some of the reviews
seem ok, but others have biased written all over them.

I also wish they would provide a resource for their testing methodology. I
can't find it anywhere on their site.
