If you disconnect all wires except the power cord, and the protection light
still won't go off, this puppy is toast. If disconnecting all wires lets the
protection light turn off, hook the wires up one at a time, testing the amp
after you add each wire.

If you disconnect all the outputs of your unit to your speakers, and
the light still comes on, the unit requires proper service. Most
likely the output transistors and drivers are damaged. In this case
the unit will require proper service.

If you do not have the light with everything disconnected, then look
for something that is shorted, that was connected.

There is a high probability of a "blown amp channel".
If so, you'd need to get it to a tech experienced with these. This model
turns many techs' knees to jelly.
