need just a few 1/2" or less dia., dual 10k, linear taper, 1/8" shaft
potentiometers, - ceramic/plastic ok- state's minimum beyond our
needs....anybody?

You can buy 10K linear pots almost anywhere (even at RatShack!)
Why not the circuit that uses single pot w/ resistor network?
