![]() "proletariat" wrote in message ... I have searched everywhere without success trying to find power cords that fit 70's and 80's Tandberg & Revox tuners and amps (same cord fits both brands) . It is just a two prong connection, it looks similar to the cord running your PC right now probably, except only 2 conductor. I have seen recently built examples from Taiwan, India, etc. but where do I buy these? it is a "standard" cord type, and I ain't real hot on paying some Revox or Tandberg "specialist" $35 or something stupid for a cord that is still being made, that he paid $1.30 for. thanks in advance for any good cheap cord source wild bill If you are happy to use a screwdriver and soldering iron, you could replace the 2 pin male chassis IEC connector with a 3 pin one. These are widely available for about $2. I have done this on my Revox tuner - the 3 pin connector has the same overall dimensions and fixing holes. Just leave the E pin unconnected. Then you can use any common 3 core IEC cord. HTH CD |
