Default Goldblatt Twelve Monitor Speakers.

I've been offered a pair of these studio monitor speakers at a great
price of $2350/pair and I was wondering how goof they are.

The guy (Saul) told me a studio is going out of business.

I can't find anything on the net about them but Saul Goldblatt says
that's because they are professional speakers and pros don't talk
about them.

Anyhow, they have 4 15 inch woofers, 6 5inch midranges and 2 dome
tweeters and thes puppies are massive weighing in at 300lbs each,

I'm starting a recording studio and these seem like a great mate for
my Alesis RA-100 and Berhinger mixer.

Any thoughts?

For about $400.00 more you can get a brand new pair of active (powered)
Genelec's. For $2000.00 you could get a new pair of Tannoy active Reveals and a
pair of Tannoy active 12" sub's. Either way you'll get tried and true
performance from either of these systems.

This sounds fishy to me. Everyone in here brags and discuses about all of there
gear.

I hope you have a big room to put them in. And a lot more than 100 watts to
push them with.

I have a RA300 and I think its less than pro equipment, I got it to power two
Hotspot monitors if somebody ever comes in not wanting to use headphones

Buy the guy's white van, too. One tire on it is worth more than his
speakers. Even if the tire is flat.

Stay away from any speaker with "blatt" in its name.

LOL!
