I would like to know if anyone makes a PCMCIA cardbus interface
(similar to the Echo indigo i/o cards) that has an 8 channel ADAT
optical input rather than the SPDIF optical in the Echo?

Take a look at the RME HDSP stuff - you'll need a separate box between
the cardbus card and the ADAT though but I think this would be true of
any cardbus solution.
