Low-frequent distortion TerraTec Aureon 5.1 USB
L.S.
After some test-recordings with my newly-bought Terratec Aureon 5.1 USB (Sony Vaio PCG FX505 laptop, Windows XP Home, Sony SoundForge/Audacity) it looks like this interface suffers from a nasty low-frequent (ca. 1 Hz) distortion(signal). I've done all suggestions of TerraTec support , installed all the latest driver/patches/BIOS-upgrade, the low-frequent signal remains. It is odd though that this low frequent signal is only present in recordings made from the line-in, it is not there when recording from mic-in! Has anybody some erperience with the TerraTec USB 5.1 Aureonm, good or bad? Kind regards, Arno Rog Amsterdam |

Is the low-frequency signal there even when there's no signal at the line-in, or does it only happen in the presence of signal? Peace, Paul |
