Wanted: Seattle Singer and Songwriting Partner



Guitarist / songwriter looking for a partner to start a band with. I'm a Christian, but have no interest in CCM. What I am interested in is an eclectic mix of roots-rock, Nashville, blues, jazz, and world music built around strong lyrical ideas. I currently have a dozen original songs either finished or clearly sketched out.

My influences: Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Elvis Costello, John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Lyle Lovett

My Ideal partner is also a committed Christian man with a strong, unique voice and good lyrical ideas. You must be responsible and have time for weekly meetings to write, rehearse, and eventually gig. I'm in my 40s so I really can't see working with someone under 30 or so and I will not even consider working with an addict.
