Default Recommended Hard Drive Partioning for A/V Editing

I currently have 3 hard drives on a P4/Windows XP [Home Edition] system.
Here are the drives:

180 Gig
120 Gig
80 Gig

I want to use the 180 Gig as the main drive because it is the fastest, but I
will only need 30 Gigs of that drive to use for programs and for future
upgrades and programs, leaving me with 150 Gigs left. My question is, how
should I set up the partitioning? I know my main partition [30Gig] will be
my Primary/Active partition, but what about the 150 Gig I have left from and
from my other hard drives? Should they all be Primary too? Or Logical or
Extended partitions? Which is better for A/V and why?

Thanks in advance.
