I know that you cannot compare mics by simply specking them out, but the
AT3035 specs seem to be superior in every respect to the AT4033. It has a broader frequency response, lower self-noise, greater dynamic range, higher SPL handling, equivalent open circuit sensitivity, and greater SNR. Soooo.....why is it a cheaper mic? More realistically, what makes the AT4033 sound better? Or......is the AT3035 a better mic for less money? Thanks, Scott |
