TASCAM M-480 LINE / KEYBOARD RACK MIXER


48 input 6U rackmount mixer, specifically designed for line input sources.

The M-480 can accommodate 2 input signals (A & B) per channel. Each channel
allows the selection of either or both input sources. There is independent
control over each signal's input level (-30dBm to +4dBm) and stereo
position.

6 independent SEND OUT jacks and 6 Stereo RETURN jacks. Output of 2 of the
6
SEND OUT jacks can be switched to pre-fader or post-fader. These jacks
allow
use of various kinds of effects devices for monitoring applications.

Two independent outputs (MASTER OOUT and SUB OUT) are provided. Each
channel's
output can be sent to either or both of these outputs using the Output
Select
Switch. The MASTER OUT includes a Mute Switch and Mute Indicator.

A MONITOR control is provided, allowing independent volume control of the
MASTER OUT
signal or SUB OUT signal through the MONITOR OUT jacks. The CUE switch of
each
channel allows hearing CUE signals from the MONITOR OUT jacks. These CUE
signals
can also be heard through headphones.

MONITOR BUS input allows hearing the tempo "click" from a sequencer through
the
MONITOR OUT jacks or the Headphone jack.

BUS INPUT includes the Send jacks (AUX 1-2, EFF 1-4) permitting
"full-function"
stacking of M-series mixers.

The M-480's MASTER OUOT XLR connectors (balanced output) allow full
interface to
professional studio environments.

Peak / Signal (PEAK/SIG) Indicator is provided for each channel and a
5-segment
Peak Meter is provided in the MASTER/SUB section, assisting in setting
accurate
signal levels. The pre-fader signal level of the MASTER OUT and CUE-signal
levels
can be monitored with the MON/CUE Peak Meter by pressing the MONITOR SELECT
switch
or the CUE switch.

Inputs are presented as 24 pairs, each with own input level trim
sensitivity, pan
and peak signal indicator. Input Select Switches allow A / B / A+B input
signal,
4 Effect Volume Send controls, 2 AUX Volume Send controls (for 6 independent
mono sends)
MASTER/SUB Output Select switching, Channel volume and CUE switch.

Master Section has Return volume x 6,EXT INput volume, Effects Send volume,
AUX Send
Volume and AUX Select Switch, Master peak Meter, Monitor / CUE Peak Meter,
CUE / MUTE Indicators, Power Indicator, Mute On/Off Switch, Master Volume
control.

Master Balance, Sub Out Volume, Sub Out Balance Controls, Monitor Select
Switch,
Monitor Out Volume and Headphone Volume controls, Headphone Jack, Power
Switch.

Seriously, this mixer will do just about all you need as a line / keyboard /
sub-mixer.
