Default waves masters TDM vs. Native

I tried waves masters and really liked it but was mad that only 1 of
the three plug-ins was a true TDM plug-in. I ended up taking it back.
At the time, I was using a g4/550 and the native plugins were
worthless at higher sample rates.

Lately, I've had a yearning for those plug-ins. I got a new dual
processor Mac so the speed issue should be better. I'm thinking of
buying the waves masters bundle again... but this time just getting
the native version since L2 works in native (and the other plugins are
native anyway).

Is this a bad idea? Will L2 not work as well or be less smooth in
NATIVE?

Any other "2-buss" processors that you guys like? I have McDsp, Maxim
and Master-X... they're ok but none are as smooth or fat sounding to
me as L2.
