Creative uses for variable HPF/LPF Filters?
I just got a couple of pre/EQ's that have variable filters for Hi pass
and Lo pass. On these modules, the filters (each one) has five selectable discreet frequencies, it's not a fully variable filter. I know about the usual uses for these, e.g. filter cymbal bleed out of kick channels, filter excess lowend from overheads, etc. I'd like to hear about unusual and creative uses for HPF/LFP filtering...well other than making a vocal sound like "Aqualung" g. Thanks, Analogeezer |
