Would like to contact anybody who knows anything about the SX-1, SX-1LE, &
SX-1SE. What am I missing here? Why is nobody buying this thing?
It looks like what I need........but I live in the wilderness and there
seems to be a black hole where the reviews are supposed to be.....I've
studied available info....

It was too expensive for what it did when it first came out. A great
unit for someone who needed MIDI and 16-track recording and had a
bunch of work to crank out, but there just aren't enough of those
people who aren't already working with a computer. Now that the price
has dropped maybe a few hobbyists will buy it.

It runs under BeOS, so future upgrades and support when the hardware
dies is questionable, at least from the manufacturer.
