has an article worth a read for those without a heavy tech background
that wish to understand a little more about impedance. It's the third

I heard it at AES, it sounded lovely even there.
AEA is coming out with a mic for MS stereo by the end of the year too.

These days, I think that Recording has the overall the best equipment
reviews of any of the current magazines. They go all go beyond the
interpretive rehash of the spec sheet or press release and show how
the equipment actually performs in real life use. You all should
encourage this.

We won't get the magazine up to the level of equipment
reviews that Hugh Ford used to do in Studio Sound, but if the
publisher and editor knows that you appreciate details, perhaps
they'll allow even more detailed reviews. I don't think you'll
ever read my 6700 word review of the TASCAM US-122 there, but I think
that many readers would like to know how tests were conducted so they
can conduct similar tests on their own equipment for comparison.
