I've recently made my own Bowed double Bass Giga instrument, spanning
1 1/2 octaves, from E1 to F#2

Edited each bowed note to approx 2 sec followed by ambient silence,
loaded each note into the Giga sampler, tuned A few of the notes, and
had the bottom octave below E1 sretch from the E1 sample for an added
octave below E1(Spanning 2 1/2 octaves) From E1 to F#2 each key has it's
own sample (No Stretching)

Nevertheless, is anyone else making Giga instruments for projects, that
would like to trade "ORIGINAL" giga files, I'm not into pirating
commercial releases, so please don't ask for the giga piano, or any
commercially licenced instruments.

I've just got the contra-bass file, however I'll be making more giga's
in the future.

I made a kit for Hallion but I can probably redo it in Giga if you're
interested. We took the front of an upright piano off and miced me
scraping the strings with my fingernails, plinking and bonking with
various objects. It's cacophonistic, weird and interesting in the
short term. pm.

Sure, I'd trade ya, if it's easy to convert 1nto a giga file, then let
me know when it's done and I'll open a 2 way FTP folder, and send the
info to you e-mail.

the email below. This is my first giga instrument and I can see there
is plenty to learn about it. The samples aren't as clean as we'd like
and they're not really loud enough either but it does work. Umm, I
made 2 gig files and they turned out to be 21 and 75Meg, respectively,
which seems rather portly. I couldn't figure out how to map the same
note over an octave either so maybe I'll get that together while I'm
working on my wahwah, mutron bass guitar instrument this week. Soon to
be followed by the Worst of the ESQ-1 Series. Thanks and keep up the
