Keeping up a tradition started by Gabe Wiener (author of the
rec.audio.pro FAQ and originator of the Pro Audio list) around
1995, we're happy to announce the 2013 edition of the
rec.audio.pro/Ampex/ProAudio list get-together in New York
in a couple weeks. If you are attending the AES and would
like to join us, the group will be meeting at 6pm on Friday,
Oct 11. We will then be proceeding en masse to the ABC Chinese
Restaurant at 34 Pell st, between Doyers and Mott, and taking
over a number of large tables.

I know Friday is a problem for some people but it avoids the
Heyser lecture and most of the vendor dinners. We're not asking
for sign-ups this time but if would be good if you dropped by
at some point during the show and said you were coming.

No, there will be no dinner at Ars Nova this year, the room is
booked for other events unfortunately. But I assure you the
Cantonese food at ABC is worth the additional trip.
