How good are you with soldering? You could spice the wires and put RCA plugs
on the ends. -- --------------------------------------------- :-D I just cut the cheese! "Chris Milkosky" wrote in message om... Hi! Does anyone know if there is a connector that utilizes the Elantra GT's CD player's 8 pin DIN (labelled for the CD changer - which I don't have) for RCA jack input? Here's my situation - I just got satellite radio. I needed some way to get the satellite tuner's audio to my Hyundai's head unit. So that meant either an FM modulator or some other solution. I couldn't easily remove the instrument facia panel - I was a little gunshy there - after removing the four screws, it still didn't budge much. So, I bought a wireless iRock thinger. Kinda neat, but there's interference no matter what. ANYWAY - I was wondering if I really needed to get an FM modulator, or could I get away with simply some connector that can attach to the 8 pin DIN? My satellite radio can output two RCA jacks... Anyone have any thoughts? BTW - I must say - I am very happy that Hyundai has all of the audio components specs, diagrams, and etc. available online. It's very convenient. Exactly what I needed. Thanks Hyundai! Chris |
