I was going through some old boxes and found an sm57 that was taken
apart. I remember trying to fix it years ago and puttint it aside for some reason. Now I am looking at it and it seems to be that everything is there the green a yellow wires are not connected..but there seems to be a missing part on the cartridge. there is a long bolt screw coming out of the cartridge but nothing else. On some photos I have seen there seems to be an oval shaped perfboard looking part with two tabs to solder the green and yellow wires to and then the bolt is tightened down.. This is missing. Does anyone know how this oval tabbed part connects to the cartridge underneath it? I imagine if I figure that out I could just fabricate something that might work.. Any help appreciated, Brian |
