"Eek! Socialism! Obama scares me!"

We already have a great deal of socialism in America. It's necessary because
the needs social programs fill cannot be requited at a profit. Education and
emergency services are the two big ones.

The shrill hysteria echoing throughout the dungeons of Right Blogistan is
purely political. Nobody will ever be forced to switch from a private
insurance company to a public one. The insurance companies will cling to their
turf come hell or high water. Furthermore, no politician wants the government
to run the private companies out of business. The objective is to change the
way they deliver health services. Why does that scare the world's Sackheads so
much?
