Better than even chance that the singers were Toni Wine overdubbed. No idea of the clavinet, but it could well have been Larry. Interesting. I googled around, but most results were based on a Billboard book. It says Andy Kim recorded the song then was signed to Capitol. It's not clear that the hit was re-recorded, but Michael Omartian is credited as arranger. Stephen |
