![]() Woofies, what are your own personal criteria in voting for U.S. Senators and Representatives? We already know you look with disfavor on any politician who brings Federal "pork" money home. So that rules out voting for a candidate who gets a contract in your home district. We also know you're ideologically ossified. That rules out any politician who votes the "wrong" way on your "values" issues. We know you're terrified of scientific research, so naturally you can't vote for any politician who tries to squash "intelligent design" or who backs research using fetal stem cells. And of course we know you're in favor of certain big-budget military acquisitions that may not have any lasting tactical value. Except you're also against "pork". Do you make an exception for "pork" spending that benefits your state? Anyway, I know you're afraid to answer the question. At best, you'll snip all but one or two lines and make some idiotic reply that you hope demonstrates how "knowledgeable" you are. -- " This one was highlighted by MM to draw attention while I think it's not the most aggregious provision but it still has issues." -- Scottie Witlessmongrel, self-described excellent writer, Feb. 22 2009 |
