Hi all,
I have recently purchased an Signal Corps I-177B tubetetsr. However, it seems to measure mutual conductance a little on the low side (especially in relation to my new Western Electric 300Bs). I think it needs a calibration. Does anybody know how to calibrate such a thing? Futher, a thought that changing rectifier tubes and/or capacitors might help? Any suggestions on this point? Thanks, Cityslang |

Thanks, Cityslang How is the 83 rectifier tube? If that is weak, any output tube will also test weak. Be sure that the two of them are good anyway before attempting recalibration. If you do choose to replace the 83, use the solid-state option. Peter Wieck Melrose Park, PA |
